Welcome to Mount Doug Dance, a high-school dance program in Victoria, BC.  We offer a variety of dance classes for beginner to advanced dancers.

The goal of the program is to have fun, work as a team, and experience pride and a sense of accomplishment, all the while developing one's dance and performance skills.

AUDITIONS

Auditions for our Choreography Class and Company, including Tap Pak, Hip Hop Crew and Contemporary Company, will be done through video. Please check out our courses for more information. 

Prepare a 1 minute minimum performance piece in the genre of your choice. If you are auditioning for multiple genres (ex. tap and hip hop), please prepare a separate performance piece for each genre. You may be self-choreographed or use something from a performance piece that you already know. If you already have a video in which you are clearly visible (solo, duet, small group or soloist within a group), you may submit this video.

Mount Doug Dance wins Virgin Radio Victoria's contest for a

Virtual Dance Party with Jason Derulo

Some dancers had the opportunity to take a dance class with Jason Derulo and his choreographer to learn the choreography from his recent music video, "Lifestyle." Following the dance class, Jason Derulo tooks questions and encouraged the dancers to use music and dance to get through challenging times in life.
